About The Malacca Chinese Chamber of Commerce and Industry
The Malacca Chinese Chamber of Commerce and Industry (MCCCI) is the highest representative organization of the Chinese business community in the state of Malacca. It is a member of the Associated Chinese Chambers of Commerce and Industry of Malaysia (ACCCIM) and is one of the active chambers of commerce in Malaysia. It plays an important role in uniting Chinese businesses, safeguarding common interests, facilitating communication between the government and the private sector, and promoting domestic and international trade and economic development.
Although Malacca is a small state, it is the oldest city in Malaysia. Its economy is mainly based on non-polluting industries, and it is also one of the states with the highest number of domestic and international tourists. On July 7, 2008, Malacca was recognized by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site and inscribed as a World Cultural Heritage city.
